Carlos was a special and dear friend to our daughter, Melanie (Melly) Holly since 1990 when they both had graduated high school and went to work at Allstate. He remained our friend thru the yrs. He came to see us just before he died and only my husband got to see him. I am so sorry I missed seeing him that visit. Now I know why his phone number didn't work and why I couldn't reach him. I'm so sorry for the pain he suffered and send my love to his 2 beautiful daughters he brought to see me since they were born and to his mother who I never had the priviledge to meet. We loved Carlos dearly. He was a wonderful friend to all of us. Melly joined him in heaven 2 months ago. We know your pain and loss. Tea & Larry Holly and family.

I just want everyone to know one thing about deputy Felipez. He was an amazing deputy and an even better man. I was homeless on the streets in Pinellas county. He took his own time to talk for hours about getting me off the street. Fed me and clothed me. When I finally got off the street, I ended up in a very very abusive relationship. The police were called and Felipez showed up. I will never ever forget what he told the man who beat me up. " I don't know what the hell your problem is? But this woman is a personal friend of mine and I know she doesn't deserve these brusies. If I find one more bruise on her, I swear I will come at you with every extent of the law." Then he turned to me and told me that he loved me. I still don't understand what happened with him. And there is so much that I wish that I could do for him because he did so much for me. To this day I have a bald eagel stuffed animal that I sleep with. I know it sounds weird but I have it because back in September you were reacognized for helping the injured bald eagle. Soit is a constant reminder of what an amazing person you were to our world. I truly love you and I will never understand why what happened did. But I have always trusted you and know that you had your reasons. RIP my true friend

Rest in peace my brother. Didn’t see you much but we always gave each other a big hug and told each other “what up brother” every time we ran into each other. You”ll be missed.

I recall working with Carlos at Allstate Insurance back in the 90’-2000 range. His attitude was always positive with a smile on his face. There was a time time when Carlos went to Michigan to get his brand new Chevy Camero and drove it home I believe it was 1993. Saddened to hear of his passing. May the family be given strength as they try to cope during this difficult time.

I saw Carlos at family gatherings and the twins’ birthdays. You could always count on a good conversation and some interesting stories from his work. I quickly learned that he was the life of the party. I remember one Christmas Day we were all sitting around the table talking and eating. Suddenly, he came up with a story about how it was a rule in another country to drink after a very simple hand gesture or facial expression. I really don’t remember all of the details, but I do remember he made the smoothest transition from small talk at the table to a very fun drinking game. I remember recording some of the expressions during this game and seeing how good of a time everyone was having. We will always remember this Christmas with warm memories.
Carlos, you will always be in our heart. I have faith that you will be watching over Martha, Allesia and Josie from heaven, guiding them every step of the way.
We will miss you.
Rest In Peace.

My heart is pained as Carlos' family & friends are trying to deal with the sadness and difficulties of loosing your loved one. I hope you can find comfort if not today, another day in these words: Imagine—endless life without pain, suffering, or sorrow! Jehovah God has given Jesus the power to resurrect billions who will live on earth. The Bible promises: " And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelaton 21:3-5. Almighty, God provides comfort; “When anxieties overwhelmed me, you comforted and soothed me.”—Psalm 94:19. Warmest regards.
