I was saddened to learn of Marthas passing. I was able to visit 3 of her homes and assisted on a project at her New York spot. This was all many years ago but I always hoped I would see Martha again. Rest in Peace.

Martha and Jack became good friends at Lake Wallenpaupack. We had many dinners together at the lake any built a long term friendship. I remember borrowing the Silver Cloud for a few hours. Martha has rented it for the weekend for Jacks Birthday.
Also remember staying in NYC at their apartment by Central Park. Martha also lent me her Condo in Florida for my daughter and me to use at Spring Break after Dottie had passed.
They were a great couple. Jack loved driving a tractor/ watching his son play football/ going to the Demolition Derby/ and reading books about the Civil War. Martha was a great wife and a special “lady”!!! She and Dolly exihibited all the grace and charm of a “Southern Lady”. She was a person that I cherished and will really miss. PS. I hope the big Bell from France that I gave her is still ringing at her Church in NJ. I am sure it would be ringing out her name and calling for the “Gates of Heaven” to open to welcome a beautiful lady.
