Obituary of Evelyn Smith

Evelyn M. Smith, 87, of St. Petersburg, passed away on March 18, 2020 in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

No funeral will be held at this time due to the limitations from the Coronavirus. Burial will take place at Bay Pines National Cemetery on 3/26/2020 at 1pm. Arrangements are by Anderson McQueen Funeral Home. 

Evelyn was born in Sanford, Florida to Robert Hayes and Dorothy Irene Wilson on April 17, 1932. She went to school in Lansing, Michigan. She married Leonard Smith on October 28, 1950 in Lansing. She worked as a caregiver for more than 30 years. She was an active member of St. Raphael Catholic Church. 

Evelyn is preceded in death by Robert Hayes (father), Dorothy Davis (mother), Leonard Smith (husband), Audrey DeMyers (sister) and Doris Price (sister). 

Evelyn is survived by her 5 nieces: Kerry Price Zamzow, Kelly Price Bagley, Tracy DeMyers, Teri DeMyers Beadle and Krista Price Henderson.
