Obituary of Doris Reyes

Reyes, Doris Roman, 85 of St. Petersburg, FL passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 31, 2020.  A proud native of New York City, NY; predeceased by her husband Luis, parents Victor and Gloria Roman, siblings Victor Roman and Hilda Davila.   Doris' legacy as a matriarch will be honored through her 6 daughters, 1 son, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was fiercely proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who held a special place in her heart.

Doris was known to be independent with an adventurous spirit; ready for any new experience at a moments notice.  Whether it was jumping in the back of a Jeep, exploring out West, riding a Greyhound bus to Georgia to visit family, playing Bingo or attending an all -night Casino event, she always said "If you're not ready, you'll miss out," and she did not miss much.

To honor Doris' wishes the cremation will be a private family gathering.  In lieu of flowers, if you wish to honor Doris, a donation to the Salvation Army will be appreciated.

She loved and was loved by all who knew her and her spirit will remain forever in our hearts.
