Obituary of Patrick Cannon

Patrick “Shaun” Cannon, age 48, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away unexpectedly July 25, 2020,
surrounded by family at Bayfront Health, as a result of injuries suffered in a motor vehicle
accident. Shaun was born August 8, 1971, in Seoul, Korea.

Shaun leaves behind a son, Justin Biggs of Washington; a daughter, his pride and joy, Grace
Cannon of New York; his parents, Arthur and Kumcha Cannon of California; his second parents,
Eugene and Barbara Waterbury (Aunt B & Uncle Gene) of New York; his siblings, Aaron
(Maggie) Cannon of Hawaii; Kathleen (Jason) Vogeli of California; and A.J. Cannon of
California; also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

How would you describe Shaun? Crafty. Loving. Rebellious. Complex. Non-conformist. Quickwitted.
Resilient. Colorful. He was always the cool older brother, the charismatic older cousin.
The fun one. An unconventional character who knew how to leave an impression, with a smile
you wouldn’t soon forget. Shaun was happiest when cooking, boating and playing darts with
friends. He also had a passion for keeping current with technology. We will always remember
him for his magnetic personality and big heart. He will be missed dearly. Our hearts swell with
pride that his final act was to give the gift of life through organ donation.

A family memorial will be planned at a later date in New Hartford, NY.
