Del was a customer of Bayprint for over 30 years. He was well-liked by the staff and we enjoyed his anecdotes and his occasional words of wisdom. We send our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. May you find happiness in your memories.

Del, was a wonderful alumnus of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (Western Seminary) and a Distinguished Alumnus. Over the years Del and I developed a wonderful friendship for which I am so grateful. I enjoyed our conversations and the insight he brought to everything. My heart was so touched when he called to tell me that things were not going well and he wanted to have a chance to say "good-bye." I will truly miss him. My very best to his beloved family and especially his lovely bride, Janet. She was the light of his life! Rest in eternal peace, Del! Rev. Carolyn Cranston, Director of Alumnae/i and Church Relations, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary

My deepest sympathy to Del's lovely wife Janet and the rest of his beloved family. I first knew Del through our contact with renovation of the FPC fellowship hall, during which I found him to be warm, courteous, brilliant, and a superb coordinator of the many aspects involved in a large renovation of an older facility (mid-1960s). I will always value those times as well as the times I stayed in his home while he went to church on Sundays, followed by our warm visitation and chats. RIP, Del, until I see you again on the other side.

I met Del at a workshop he led for Presbytery executives. We hit it off. For years he gave of his time, insight, candor, tough love, and ever deeper questions which "midwifed" my best work over 20 years. I owe him much. Thank you Del.

Del was one of my most admired mentors -- and we also became good friends. It is difficult to say all that Del meant to so many. It would take pages and pages. He lived an incredible life. The world is a better place because of Del. Barb and I send our best to Janet, Lee and all the Poling family -- and extended family. Forrest & Barb Palmer

Again, I am sorry for your loss and continue to remember all of you in prayer.
