Obituary of Donna Kanabay

Donna Marie Kanabay Harvey, age 63, of Odessa, Fl, died January 26^th at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She is survived by her husband Thomas “Lee” Harvey, her sisters Sandra Ambush and Cathy Naghitorabi, and her nieces and nephews.

Donna came from a Court Reporting family, as the daughter of Donald and Helen Kanabay, and eventually took the reins of the Family reporting firm, Kanabay Court Reporters. An extremely accomplished reporter, Donna was an early adopter of, and advocate for, utilizing the best technology available to protect the record.

Donna was active in FCRA, taking a particular interest in the history of court reporting in Florida. Her other passion was spending time on her beloved “bote” on the St. Johns River.
