I knew David through Nitram lodge. Early on in my masonic endeavors his sense of humor helped me feel at home in Nitram. He was always kind, always forthright and always ready for a smile or a laugh. His calm sensibility will be missed. It seems the good ones always pass too soon. Brother Dave I, and many others will miss you. My condolences to Bonnie and the Henderson family.

Helen and I feel incredibly honored to have known Dave, through our various Masonic affiliations. I would be hard pressed to think of a nobler gentleman who always had a kind word, a hearty handshake and the kind of bear hug you just cannot forget. While his passing leaves a physical void in the universe – the pure love and light that was Dave’s true inner self remains in our memories. Thank you Bonnie and Family for allowing us to experience Dave and have him be a small part of our lives. We are so much the better for it.

I will sorely miss you my friend and brother. David was a good and upright man and Mason who cherished his family, friends and community. I first met David when our boys were in Cub Scouts and he was active as a father and leader. He then became a Mason and we shared many years of active service in the fraternity. David had a big heart and caring nature, he worked at building a better community through service and being serviceable to his fellow man.
David will be missed by all who knew him but will also be remembered for the loving, caring and dedicated man that he was. Until we meet again my brother, Alas.

Brother Dave was Nitram Lodge's Worshipful Master in 2003 when I began my Masonic journey there, and I always felt honoured to be a part of his year as I found him sincere, honest, dependable, and very kind to new members. Dave was extremely likeable among the Brothers, and one expected to be laughing a great deal if you sat near him at a banquet, or even at just a casual get together after Lodge.
David's dedication to the Craft was unquestionable, an upright man in all ways before all men. He was sorely missed these last years as there was no question that David Henderson, was, is, and will always be, a beloved member of our Fraternal Family. May the Great Architect embrace you, my Brother, with all the Love You gave others.

As a visiting Mason from Canada, Dave was one of the reasons years ago that I joined his Lodge here. He was a born leader and a friend to all. His many years as an officer at Nitram Masonic Lodge will be fondly remembered. Bob Hirsch, St. Petersburg and New Brunswick, Canada.
