Obituary of Joseph Corbett Ercolani

Joseph Corbett Ercolani, 28, passed away April 16, 2021. He was born and raised in St Petersburg, where he attended Grace Lutheran Church & School, St Petersburg High School, and later St Petersburg College, where he obtained his BS degree in Technology Management and Development.

He is preceded in passing by his father, Steven Ercolani. Joe is survived by his mother and step-father, Victoria & Alan Nelson; aunts, Lori Riley (Ken), Terri Jones (Chris), Michelle Clement and Donna Olin; uncles, James Ercolani (Cynthia) and Michael Ercolani; cousins, Christopher Jones , Courtney Haight, Taryn Zimont, Alicia Cridge, Kristen Crain, Kevin Ercolani, Mark Ercolani, Aimee Albright, Natalie Amato, Anthony Lanning and Heather & Vinson Olin; and 2 lifelong bestfriends, Michael Hyer and Blake Shelton. He is also survived by his dogs, Finlay & Ellie; and his cats, Dexter & Loki.

Joseph enjoyed rocket and chess club growing up, while he attended grade school. He also enjoyed watching movies, watching current events, and most of all, playing video games. Joe also loved spending lots of time with his family, friends, and his beloved pets. Joseph was a very gentle soul and will be deeply missed.

Visitation & gathering will be held at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home (2201 Dr. MLK St. N) on April 23rd from 5-6PM, with a memorial service at 6PM. Memorial donations in Joseph's name can be made to American Heart Association or Pet Pal Animal Shelter.
