Obituary of Margaret Shearer

Shearer, Margaret, 77 of St Petersburg, FL passed away August 24, 2021 at St Anthony’s Hospital. Marge was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was an avid Eagles, Flyers and Phillies fan. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Florence. Margaret is survived by 2 sisters, Florence and Nancy; 4 children, Robert, Peggi, Estelle, and Earl; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Marge worked most of her adult life in the world of accounting, was a talented seamstress and knitter. She enjoyed making baby hats for newborns and volunteered her accounting services for several organizations including the American Sewing Guild and Americana Cove Association, where she resided. A mass was celebrated with many of her family and neighbors on August 25, 2021. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society at https://www.cancer.org
