Obituary of Daniel Arthur Nold, Jr.

Nold, Daniel "Dan" Jr., 92, of St. Petersburg went to be with the Lord August 26, 2021. Dan was born in Bay City, Michigan on Nov. 21, 1928, to Daniel and Della Nold. He came to St. Petersburg in 1977. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Renie; his daughter, Sarah; his two parents; his sister and brother. Dan is survived by his daughters, Mary Nicholich (Bob), Abby Rudderham (Steve), and Martha Darda (Herb); six grandchildren, Renie, Ryan, Timmy, Stevie, Amanda, and Amy and two great-granddaughters, Mollie and Vanessa.
Dan was a World War II veteran and a retired homicide detective with the City of Detroit Police Department. He loved his family, music, playing Euchre, and his church. Dan will be missed by all who knew him.  There will be a visitation on Friday, September 3rd from 6-8 pm at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Street N, St. Petersburg, FL. A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in St. Petersburg on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 11 am, with a committal service following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Holy Family Catholic Church.
