You are the hero of my childhood!
They say I’m sorry for your loss, They say your heart will mend. They say you’re in a better place, and death is not the end. They say you’re reunited with loved ones gone before. They say that you’ll be waiting when I walk through heavens doors. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. You walk beside me everyday. Unseen, unheard but always near! A hollow place in my heart is where you will always stay. Still loving you, still missing you so dear. Love you grandpa, my true hero!

I have so many memories of my grandfather that it is hard to mention them all. I will forever cherish those memories he was so terrific to our family and a great mentor to me, i will always remember him as a hardworking and great man that he was. I am happy he was a fabulous great grandfather to my kids Hailey and Caleb, they will miss him dearly. He felt so honored when Michael asked him for his permission to marry me, to see the smile on his face and tears of joy will always stay with me, he was so proud of us. I will miss him dearly and i am glad that i was able to speak with him before he passed and he said he was going to fight as he always did. I love and miss you grandapa!

Jerry was one of the loveliest people I've ever had the priviledge of knowing. Wry, generous, full of the greatest stories...my favorite times working out in the yard were spent talking about everything under the sun together. I miss that, and miss him. Rest in peace, dear man.

When I moved into the neighborhood I was locked out of my house. He greeted me with a big smile and provided me with a chair. He will be missed

Love and sympathy to Sandy and the family. I was the FPNA secretary the approximately 20 years he was president. Several of us stayed on the board as long as he was president. The monthly ride to the CONA meetings was a pleasure as I learned so many stories about his life in the Air Force. All the places he lived with his family, the different kinds of planes he worked on and flew, the adoption of your children, the other two children, the good times, and some mishaps. I enjoyed every story, he could tell it like it was. I appreciated the loan of your husband, Sandy on those trips downtown!
I am a widow as you know so I can say I know how much you are going to miss him. I am here for you - call, e-mail, or message me on FaceBook. I will miss him along with you. May your belief system give you the strength to get through your remaining years.
