Obituary of Leanna L. Smakal

Leanna "Lee" Smakal, 57, of Clearwater, FL, passed away on October 12, 2021. She was born in Arkansas on April 12, 1964. She was raised in Illinois and attended Morton East High School. Leanna was preceded in her passing by her father and mother; and is survived by her son, Russel Smakal Jr. of Nicholasville, KY, and her lifelong friends. 

Lee loved to travel and spend her free time walking on the beach. She also enjoyed just generally having a good time; whether that be listening to live music, singing, vacationing, or spending time with the people that matter the most. 

A visitation will be held at Anderson-McQueen, 2201 Dr MLK St North, beginning at 12pm, with a celebration of life at 1pm. Her interment will take place immediately after at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
