Obituary of Melissa Lee Davis

Melissa “Missy” Lee Davis, 67, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 4, 1955, in Lansing, Michigan to Lewis and Mary Lou Carpenter. A high school graduate, Melissa enjoyed her work at All Children’s Hospital. Melissa was an avid tennis player and bowler. She enjoyed attending the Tampa Bay Rays baseball games; going and listening to country music concerts. She was a member of Our Savior Church.

Melissa is survived by her husband of 41 years Walter R. Davis Jr.; son, Walter R. Davis III (Jessica); grandchildren, Hunter and Tanner; brothers, Brad and James (Londa); sister, Debbie; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

There will be a visitation for Melissa on Sunday, January 30th from 4-8 P.M. Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 31st at 11:00 at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home. Melissa will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery.
