Obituary of Laura Ann Toon

Laura A. Toon passed away peacefully on April 8, 2022, at her home in St. Petersburg, FL. She was born on April 16, 1957, to Rollo Sr. and Lorraine (Liska) Christensen, in Chicago, Ill. The family later moved to FL. Laura graduated from Northeast High School in 1975 and continued studies in nursing, making many friends along the way. She had an impeccable work ethic and was an exceptional caregiver, always doing what she could to help anyone she knew. Throughout her life she enjoyed traveling, reading, crafting and loved being with her family.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by three sisters, Janice (Joe) McIntyre, Linda Crutchfield and Susy Spartz; one brother, Rollo Christensen, Jr.; one daughter, Kristine (Chris) Collins and 3 grandchildren, Taylor, Ashley and Jacob.
