Obituary of John Frederick Ralph Jr.

John Ralph Jr., 62, of St. Petersburg passed away unexpectedly April 20, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Ralph Sr. and Ina Ralph. John is survived by wife Kathy, sons Andrew (Heather) and Harrison, brother James (Julie) and loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. John was a highly respected business owner and an active and generous member of the Tampa Bay community. 

Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, John spent his teenage years in Port Clinton, Ohio enjoying the small town on Lake Erie, so much so, he would later return with his wife and sons each summer to relax at the Catawba Island Club and visit with his beloved high school friends.

After graduating from Stetson University, John found his way to St. Petersburg to be near his parents. This is where, through Young Republicans, he would meet his wife of 33 years, raise two boys and start his own accounting firm, John Ralph & Associates. 

John was a joyous man, always looking for  ways to improve the lives of his loved ones and lift the spirits of family, friends, colleagues and often even strangers. He had a deep love for his country, animals, boating, football and whatever his kids were doing at any given moment. 
 

John’s kind and fun-loving spirit will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
