Carmel Crondon

Obituary of Carmel Yvonne Crondon

Carmel Crondon was born in Guyana, South America. She was a teacher, a seamstress, a baker, a builder…the list goes on. In 1982, Carmel moved from Guyana to the United States, where she began a new chapter in her life. Living in Guyana and raising 7 children was a bit hard so with the help of her close friend Ms. Elaine, She was able to come to the United States and create some new avenues for her children. She worked in New Jersey for many years until she was able to bring her kids overseas to the U.S. She is a beautiful soul that works hard to achieve all that is needed and desired. Building everything from scratch, she bought a home in Florida and slept in it with no furniture as she worked hard to make a way for herself, while building her foundation here in Florida. Of course, you know she had to build her garden as well. Her true heart being within the greenery of her plants. To this day, I still believe her plants and the life within her plants is what kept her in such a go go go type of attitude. Happy go lucky.

Her beautiful smile is bright enough to light up anyone’s day, she is like the sun shining upon her plants so that they will grow into beautiful healthy and fruitful reflections of herself. Anytime you come visit her home, she is sure to have your hands full of gifts from her garden, she shares the love with every and anybody….family, friends, and even strangers. Her smile shines through all of us as we carry on with the remembrance of her joy. We know her love is here with us, and it will never leave us. We love you forever, and always Carmel Yvonne Crondon
