Obituary of Gregory Francis Bedore

Gregory (Greg) Francis Bedore, 70, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday, August 23rd 2022, quietly at his home, after a long battle with COPD. He was born on December 21st 1951 in La Porte, Indiana, to Robert and Marion Bedore. Child number 6 of 11 siblings, Greg deeply loved his family, and the times spent with them fishing on Sparrow Lake in Canada were among his favorite memories. He enjoyed his professional career of 40+ years in the jewelry and diamond business. An avid collector of cameras and handmade guitars, he loved to play music along with his son, Daniel. Known for his sense of humor, Greg would generate smiles with his quick wit and dry delivery.

Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Peggy, and his eldest brother, Doug. Greg is survived by his two sons, Leon Bedore of Tampa, FL. and Daniel Bedore of St. Petersburg, FL. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Cyan Bedore of Tampa, FL. Greg is also survived by 9 siblings and their families.

A remembrance gathering will be held in Allendale Park on Sunday, September 4th, at 1pm.
