Obituary of Linda Wilson Roach

Linda Wilson Roach, 83, died on September 13. She was born in St. Petersburg. She graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1957, St. Petersburg Junior College, and received a degree in Elementary Education from Florida State University. She taught in Duval and Pinellas County school systems. She was a member of First Baptist Church St. Petersburg for over 45 years where she was a member of the SonShine Bible class. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dr. Reuben “Pete” Roach, her sister Sondra Pearson, her children, Dr. Sam Roach (Alysia Ludwig Roach) and Jacee Diefel (Ryan), and 7 grandchildren (Savannah, Kendall, Whitney, Kagan, Emory, Ashtyn, and Kylie). A private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
