Obituary of Beverly May

Beverly B. May, 85 of St. Petersburg, passed away August 21, 2022 at Bayfront Medical Center in the hospice unit. Born in Lakeland, Florida, she went on to attend St. Petersburg high school.
 

She was preceded in death by her parents Mattie C. and William G. Bryan SR; her eldest daughter Deborah; and her younger brothers Terry, Daniel, and Richard.
 

Beverly is survived by her children Elaine, Sherrie, and Gary; siblings Joan and William; grandchildren Anthony, Amy, Christopher, and Allyson; great-grandchildren Zachery and Kaitlin.
 

Beverly was the pianist at Norwood Baptist Church and at Gateway Baptist Church for many years. Due to her dedication and loyalty, Gateway Baptist Church declared a special day of the year, in which they called "Beverly May Day". She was a caregiver for children and the elderly.

For almost eleven years she resided in a nursing home in Pinellas Park, where she tested the staff's patience and kept them on their toes on a daily basis. She made loving friends there with her unique sense of humor and would sing to her roommates the songs she played on the piano in the church. She loved to laugh and spend time with her family. Beverly was devoted to the lord and is in his loving arms now.
