Obituary of George P Apostolou

George P. Apostolou, age 72, passed away at home on January 31, 2023.  Born in Erythai, Greece, he was the son of the late Panagiotis and Konstantina (Bethani) Apostolou.  He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Poppe Apostolou, and children, Pete (Christina), Tina (Jared), and Tasia, granchildren, George, Zoe, Theoabd Leo, siblings, Katerina, Serafim (Nitsa), and Mihali (Kati) , and many nieces and nephews, and family.  

George wanted to make a difference in this world, and that he did.  To us, he means the world, and always will.

Services will be held Monday, February 6, 2023 at 10am at St. Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church 3600 76th St N, St. Petersburg FL with Rev. Fr. Samson N. Kasapakis officiating.  Interment will follow services at Woodlawn Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Anderson McQueen Family Tribute Center, Tyrone Chapel.
