Obituary of Marjorie Ann Clark

Clark, Marjorie A., 88, of St. Petersburg, passed away May 31, 2023 at Bayfront Medical Center in the Palliative Care (Hospice) Unit. Born and raised in New London, Connecticut, she is predeceased by her loving husband of nearly 63 years, Earl W. Clark, Jr. whom she had met when he was a student at the US Coast Guard Academy. She was preceded in death by Earl as well as her parents, Peter and Flora Dyke, and her son, Kenneth D. Clark. Marjorie is survived by her son, Peter E. Clark, her daughter, Kimberly A. Skalski (spouse Joseph Skalski), her grandchildren Kirsten (spouse Laura), Courtney Faucette (spouse Sam), Kayla, and Kari, her great grandchild Amelia “Millie” Clark, her cousin Kay Kelly (spouse Bill), and her daughters-in-law Rhonda Halpern and LaDonna Edwards. Known to her co-workers as Marge, she retired from JMC Communities, where she worked for several decades in both real estate sales and accounting. Marjorie loved her husband and family dearly, played the piano eloquently, decorated homes with tremendous artistry, and raised a number of Boston Terriers over the course of her lifetime. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home at 9th St. N and 22nd Ave. N.
