Obituary of Janet Louise Sherman

Janet Louise Sherman, 78, of Tierra Verde, Florida peacefully passed away on June 8, 2023. Born in Dunkirk, NY, and raised in Fredonia, NY, she graduated from Jamestown School of Practical Nursing with her LPN diploma.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Coil and Violet Sackett and her sibling Michael Coil.  She is survived by her son Todd O’Brocta, and his sons Josh and Nick of Dunkirk, NY.  Her daughter Dru Murphy and her husband Tom, son Reed, daughter Corinne of Fairfax Station, VA.  Her daughter Meredith Delcamp and her husband Jesse, sons Nate, Luke, and daughter Emma of Tierra Verde, FL.

Janet had a love of international travel, gardening and flower boxes, and a good reality TV show.  She will be most remembered for quick wit, outspoken nature, willingness to help others, adventurous spirit, and love of spending time with family and friends.

Janet’s memorial service will be on Saturday, June 24, 2023 10am at the Anderson McQueen St. Petersburg Family Tribute Center, 2201 Dr MLK Street North, St Petersburg.
