Obituary of Anthony Bruce Sheroki

Anthony “Bruce” Sheroki 74, of St. Petersburg, FL, formally of East Hampton, CT passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 2, 2023. 

Bruce was born in New Britain, CT on October 1, 1948.  Growing up he had a great fascination with cars and enjoyed racing his 1965 Plymouth Satellite, winning multiple first place trophies in Lebanon Valley, NY.

Bruce was a mechanic by trade - majority on Tow Motors aka Fork Lifts at HO Penn Machinery in Newington, CT until they closed the division. During his retirement he purchased a RV and traveled the United States with his then wife, Cindy. They participated in the Nomads UMC in disaster relief and missions at churches, children’s homes and camps.

Bruce was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Sophie (Maciora). Bruce’s big life change was moving to Florida in January 2023 to live with his daughter Monika and her boyfriend, Jeremy Halpin. Bruce had an amazing bond with Jeremy, who was there for him, no matter what. They enjoyed many adventures and happy hours with friends. Bruce also leaves behind Cindy and daughter Alexa, her husband, Pete and two granddaughters, Renna and Julia, who he absolutely adored. 

The family wants to thank the Weissman Day Center for making Bruce’s last month in Florida enjoyable and memorable for him- thank you Maria, Linnete and Kaytrice!

Bruce requested to be cremated and for everyone to remember the good times.
