Obituary of Richard Coleman Leonard

Richard Coleman Leonard, beloved husband, father, and grandfather was born August 3, 1935, in Tampa, Florida and deceased June 18, 2023.  Richard is survived by his sons Michael (Lisa) and Mark (Terri), son-in-law Walter, and 4 grandchildren Christopher, Katelyn, Samantha, and Jack.

Richard was a retired theater manager starting at the Florida Theatre, Lowes 5th Avenue, and retiring from General Cinema in 1990.  He was actively involved in coaching little league baseball as well as his church (Christ United Methodist), serving over 55 years on numerous committees and as an usher.

Richard was a family man devoted to his wife of over 61 years and his family.  He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Funeral services for Richard will be held at Christ United Methodist Church Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
