Obituary of Mary A Carlomagno

Mary A Carlomagno (nee Pasquarello), 95, of St Petersburg, FL passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at her home. Born April 20, 1928 in Plainfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Virginia (Santonastaso) Pasquarello. Mary was involved in many groups that allowed her to live her faith in giving to others. She was a parishioner for 27 years at St Raphael Catholic Church, volunteering her time with Council of Catholic Women, Tuesday Fun Club, Rosary Makers, Knit for the Homeless, St Anthony Hospital Auxiliary, and Red Cross. Prior to this, she was a member of St Gregory the Great Catholic Church for 29 years, giving enthusiastically of her time with Church Women’s Club, as a school volunteer, and Homeroom Mother. Lovingly known in her large family as “#5”, she was an excellent cook, seamstress, and gardener. Her greatest joy was being with her family, cooking for them and her neighbors.

Along with her parents, her husband, Henry Carlomagno; her brothers, Peter, Nick, Frank, Dom and Anthony Pasquarello; and her sisters, Angela Mondoro, Helen Napolitano, and Frances Brinson preceded her in death.

Mary will be remembered and missed by her children, Michelle (Randy) Mosley, Victor Carlomagno, Marianne (Tim) Skarupa; 5 grandchildren, Neal (Kristen) Mosley, Ryan Mosley, Natalie Carlomagno, Michael Skarupa, Jake Carlomagno: 2 great-grandchildren, Bear and Edie Mosley; her sisters, Rose Ciufo and Jean Wood.

Family and friends will gather for Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, August 7, 2023 at St Raphael Catholic Church, 1376 Snell Isle Blvd NE, St Petersburg. Inurnment will follow services at Bay Pines National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Anderson McQueen Family Tribute Center.
