Obituary of Rob Rummel

Robert (Robby) Rummel, Jr. passed away August 6, 2023 at Suncoast Hospice Care Center St Petersburg, Florida

Robby was born July 8, 1962 in Carlisle, PA.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Nickel.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Lisa Rummel, St Petersburg, Florida; Father, Robert Sr.; Sister, Gina Snyder; Nieces, Megan Wardle, Kayla Snyder; Great Niece, Blakelynn Wardle; Great Nephew, Harper Wardle; Uncle, Eugene Nickel; Aunt, Edie Goodhart and Cousins, Tonya Fair and Rick Goodhart.

Robby loved all sports, especially the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  Robby loved all animals especially his boys Ace & King.

He worked for the city of St Petersburg, Florida, Parks and Recreational Dept.  He was a lead man and took so much pride in his work.  He worked there for 14 years and really loved his job because he was outdoors.  His boss and his crew respected him for his kindness and leadership.

The Memorial Service will be on August 26, 2023 @ 1p at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home located at 2201 Dr MLK Jr Street North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33704

Following the service at the funeral home, there will be a Celebration of Life at Miller's Ale House located at 7901 Dr MLK Jr Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33702
