Obituary of Shirley Hayward

Shirley Hayward, 88, of Kenneth City, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at Palm Gardens of Largo.  Born April 19, 1935, in Cambridge City, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Robert E and Thelma I (Wyer) Porter. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford "Gene" Hayward; her sisters, Barbara Wolford, Maralyn Rose, and Elizabeth Miller; her stepmother, Anna Porter.   Shirley will be deeply missed by her children, Pam Garnsey and Robert Hayward; her sisters, Rebecca Porter (Tom Westevelt) and Kay Pike; a close friend as dear as a sister, Teri and many nieces and nephews.   Family will honor her privately. In lieu of flowers, family is asking for donations to the Salvation Army.
