Obituary of Carolyn June Denny

Carolyn June Denny peacefully passed away on October 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and supported by Hospice care. Carolyn was born in Danville, Kentucky.  She was a proud graduate of Burgin High School.  

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Stella Kauffman. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald Denny; her daughter, Glenna Soper; her son, Jason Denny; and her cherished daughter-in-law, Jennifer Denny. Carolyn is fondly remembered by her brother, Col. Raymond Kauffman Jr. (Retired U. S. Army) (Lise Marie Kauffman), sister-in-law.  She leaves behind her adored grandchildren Aidan and Stella Denny. 

Carolyn and Ron shared over 60 years of love and inseparable companionship. She found immense joy in spending time with her family. Carolyn’s career as a registered nurse reflected her compassionate and nurturing nature, touching the lives of many.  

She had a deep affinity for the water and a passion for traveling. Her radiant smile and captivating spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her. 

A Celebration of life will be held on November 17, 2023, at the First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Micheal J. Fox Foundation- For Parkinson's Research.  https://give.michaeljfox.org or www.apdaparkinson.org
