Obituary of Dorothy M Mickie

Dorothy M. Mickie, 91, of St Petersburg, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, peacefully at her home.  Born November 14, 1931, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Gottleib and Eva (Wingenter) Auman.  She received her bachelor's degree from Saint Leo College and her master's degree from Florida Institute of Technology.  She had a long successful career in the health care sector, working as an administrator overseeing risk management.  Dorothy was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church for over 54 years, receiving notable accomplishments from the lay pastoral ministry institute serving as a part of the lay leadership ministry.  

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A Mickie, 

She will be remembered and missed by her children, Marianne (Mike) Jarmuz, Patti (Pat) Coakley, Kathy (Gary) Howard, Mike (Patricia) Mickie and Danny Mickie (Kristen); 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.  

Family and friends will gather Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Holy Family Catholic Church for visitation from 9am until time of funeral mass at 10am.  Entombment will follow services at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

If one wishes to order flowers, please ask florist to deliver to Anderson McQueen Family Tribute Center, 2201 Dr MLK Street N, on Monday by end of day to ensure arrangments are at the church.
