Obituary of Randall Eugene Sheets

                                                                     Randall “Randy” Eugene Sheets

                                                                 January 6, 1970 - November 20, 2023

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Randy Sheets on Monday, November 20, 2023, at his residence in Treasure Island, Florida.

Randy, born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland, was nurtured by his beloved "Mommall," Chloe June Brown, and Aunt Vicki Atanasov until he made Florida his home in 1989.

Preceded in death by his parents, Edward A. Sheets, Sr., and Shirley Ann Robinette Sheets, along with his "Mommall" Chloe June Brown and brother Brandon Wayne Sheets, Randy leaves behind a legacy cherished by his son, Dayton Avery Collins Sheets of St. Petersburg; his brother Edward A. Sheets, Jr., and sister-in-law Linda, of Mt. Airy, MD; nephews Edwards Sheets, III, of Mt. Airy, MD, and Johnny Whitworth of Harpers Ferry, WV; niece Amanda Sheets of Hagerstown, MD; as well as three great-nieces and two great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Pet Pals Animal Shelter, 405 22nd St. S, St. Petersburg, FL.

Randy's wish was to limit sadness and instead celebrate the remarkable life he shared with us all. Known for his selflessness, kindness, and unwavering compassion, Randy touched and improved the lives of countless individuals. From his days as the "Piano Guy" to his successful career as an audiologist with The Audible organization, his impact resonates deeply.

As an extraordinary father, loving brother, outstanding neighbor, and unmatched friend, Randy embodied a level of humanity we can only aspire to achieve. While he will be profoundly missed, his influence on us will endure, living on in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear friend.

                                                                                         I’m Free

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free, I’m following the path GOD laid for me. I took his hand when I heard his call, I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I’ve found that peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My Life’s been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, GOD wanted me now, He set me free.
