Obituary of Harriet Jeannette Calvani

Harriet Omerza Calvani passed on December 10, 2023 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she is the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Mary Omerza. Harriet is predeceased by her husband Tom Calvani and daughter Janet Feeney Sousa.

Harriet loved sewing and enjoyed sharing her talent with the staff and children of St. Paul’s in St. Petersburg. She always looked forward to and very much enjoyed every moment she was able to spend with her friends at the Sunshine Senior Center.

Harriet was very devoted to her family and loved nothing more than visiting with them and laughing. She enjoyed museums, art shows, dining out, being on the beach, and shopping.

Harriet is survived by her loving children, Raymond Feeney, Eileen McNulty and Laurette Cauthen and her husband Steve. She will be forever missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. Harriet’s love is continued with us through her sister, Ethel Way, and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Omerza.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 1800 – 12th Street N., St. Petersburg on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 10:30 am.
