Obituary of Edelgard Theresa Almeida

Edelgard Theresa 'Jan' Kaszuba Almeida, 94, of Seminole, Florida passed away on December 21, 2023. She was born in Dobbs Ferry, New York where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at St. Joseph's Hospital, where she met her Husband: Alexander Kaszuba, MD. After completing his residency Jan and Alexander moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1956 where they raised four children. Jan was an avid tennis player and was known as the Parcheesi Queen. 

Jan was preceded in death by Her loving Husband of 30 years: Alexander Kaszuba; Parents: Paul and Else Jantzen; and Sister: Geraldine 'Geri' Introcasso.

She is survived by Her Children: Karl (Mary), Paul (Jacki), Peter, and Roxanne (Laszlo); Five Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren.
