Obituary of Maureen E. Santilli

Maureen Elizabeth (Powers) Santilli passed away peacefully on December 31, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, George David Santilli and her sister Mary (Powers) Boukalis. With wonderful memories of being a loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, she leaves behind her brother James Powers, her four children, Marianne Santilli, Jack Santilli, Cathleen Smith (Dale), and Jimmy Santilli (Karen). She also leaves behind her three grandchildren, Sarah Santilli Pelletier (David), Anthony and Rachel Santilli, and her great-grandson Jayden Gallardo, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family was her everything and 2023 was a year filled with good times and memory making as she went on a family cruise, traveled solo to visit out of state family and friends, sang karaoke for the first time, played charades at various Christmas parties, and celebrated with a surprise 89th birthday party. If you knew her, you know she was tiny but mighty and was a force to be reckoned with right until the end.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Southbridge, MA.
