Obituary of John R. Stalker

Stalker, John R. 73, of St. Petersburg, died Monday, July 19, 2010, at his home. John was born in St. Petersburg, FL, where he graduated from St. Paul's Catholic High School. He was Catholic. He treasured the time spent with his family and traveling. John's love of football began as a member of the St. Paul's football team, and he continued to enjoy watching the game, especially when played by the Florida Gators. He was preceded in death by father, William Stalker and his mother, Leslie Lee Stalker, sisters Shila Lozo and Leslie Callahan, and brother William. He is survived by his wife Gail Stalker, Saint Petersburg, FL; son Mark John Stalker, Saint Pete Beach, FL, and his wife Katie Stalker; daughters Debbie Stalker Harris, Saint Petersburg, FL and Lori Stalker O'Sick, Saint Petersburg, FL and her husband Christopher P. O'Sick; and grandchildren Page Harris IV, Nicole Stalker, Natalie Harris, Christopher O'Sick Jr., Kevin Stalker and Brittany O'Sick; and many other family members. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to family member, Jake's fund, at www.jakejunction.com. There will be a gathering of friends on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson McQueen Family Tribute Center, 2201 Dr. M.L. King Jr. St., with a funeral Mass at St. Paul's Catholic Church on Saturday, at 10:00 AM.
