Vu, Phuongthao, 40, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday Feb. 12, 2000. Born in Saigon, Vietnam, she came here in 1992 from Cincinnati, Ohio, where she received her Associate Degree in Chemical Technology from the University of Cincinnati. She was a chemistry technician and a Buddhist. Survivors include her husband, Quan Tang; one son, Victor Tang, St. Petersburg; father, Ky D. Vu, Cincinnati, Ohio; mother, Thong Vu, St. Petersburg; six sisters: Bich K. Vu, Minnesota; Tuyet A. Vu, Ohio; Lien M. Vu, Cincinnati, Ohio; Dung N. Vu, Kentucky; Cuc K. Vu, Kentucky; and Chi Pham, Minnesota; three brothers: Phan D. Vu, Texas; Dung Q. Vu, Ohio; Tung T. Vu, Minnesota; several nieces and nephews.
