Obituary of Carrie Lee Faeh

Faeh, Carrie Lee, 87, of Largo, died Sunday March 19, 2000 at home. She came here in 1920 from her native Birmingham, Alabama. She served as a Navy nurse during WWII and Korea. She attended nursing school at Mound Park Hospital in St. Petersburg from 1935 to 1938, was a nurse at Morton Plant and All Children?s Hospitals, a member of the Navy Nurse Corp Association and Mound Park Nurses Alumni Association. Survivors include two sons: William G., Dunedin and Donald E., Melbourne, FL; four sisters: Ophelia Walsingham, Largo; Ruth Tipton, Selma, AL; and Bettye Reed, Las Vegas, NV and Mae Adair, Homassassa Springs, FL; a brother: Jack Gates, Largo; two grandsons: James & Daniel Faeh and a granddaughter, Kimberly Faeh, all of Dunedin.
