Coleman, Ernest J., Jr. ?Ernie,? 79, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday April 21, 2001. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he came here in 1990 from Clayton, NJ where he had been owner of Coleman Used Cars for many years. He also had a car dealership in Vineland, NJ. Prior to that, he worked at Jessie Maurie, Inc. in Morristown, NJ as a heavy equipment operator for twenty years. He was a life member of both the American Legion Post #273 in Madeira Beach and the VFW Sunshine City Post #6827 in St. Petersburg. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1145 in St. Petersburg and Moose Legion #125 in Orange Blossom, FL. He served in the U.S. Marines Corps during WWII and was Protestant. Survivors include one son, William, Tampa; two daughters: Dorothy B. DeBlock, Port Elizabeth, NJ; and Sandy Teti, Millville, NJ; two sisters: Catherine Biagi, Landisville, NJ; and Frieda Isaac, Wildwood Villas, NJ; one brother, Eugene, of Delaware; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
