Petitt, Alexander C. ?Alex? 74, Died Friday June 16, 2000 at St. Petersburg General Hospital. He was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey , came here in 1959 from Norfolk, Va. He was a Store Keeper 1st class for the U.S.Navy for 26 yrs. His last station was Cape Kennedy, Fla., he was a protestant. He was a member of the V F W post 6827, and the Fleet Reserve Assoc. Survivors include a daughter, Lynn A. Mance, St. Petersburg, 3 Sons, Edward J., St. Pete., Mark A., St. Pete., Thomas D., St. Pete., a sister, June Helbig, Bayonne, New Jersey, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, Anderson&McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center, 9th Street Chapel.
