The first time I met Don was at a CMA Seasons of Refreshing in Titusville and we rode home as a group and he had his son on the back of the bike. I was so impressed at what a gentle man he was and how he loving he was toward the boy. You have my prayers that you will be comforted knowing that he is wrapped in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

Don, or LD as he introduced himself at all biker events, was so well loved because he gave of himself to all he met. Those who attended his beachside sunrise Easter services, or his Beachside Christmas services know he loved every motorcyclist, and wanted them to have access to the same love that he felt from the Lord Jesus. I was his music leader for many years at those services, and looked forward to the events. LD's parking place on Main Street Daytona will be lacking the special touch he always provided. CMA is stronger and more evgangelistic because of LD's service as West-Coast Florida Rep, but also because of his service to HOG as chaplian. He served the HOG group because he loved the people, and wanted be part of them. We all love you Don, Be Blessed in the presence of the Messiah, and we will see you there. In the words of the song, "Yes Lord, we will ride with you!!".

When I first met Don at a CMA meeting Covenant Riders, I had my daughter Kelly who was 4 or 5 at the time with me. I was a single mom, so I took her everywhere with me. She just LOVED Don's puppet--he even got to the adults with that puppet! His life was dedicated to the Lord, so we can know that he's home now. My prayers are with the family. May God bless each of you, and give you strength.
