Obituary of Malcolm l. Frakes

Frakes, Malcolm L., 85, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, August 18th, 2000 at his home. He came here in 1929 from his native Valparaiso, IN and he was a 1932 graduate of St. Petersburg High School. He retired as sales and service manager at City Fuel Oil Company after 35 years of service. During WW II he served in the Coast Guard. He was an avid fisherman, and was a member of the Pinellas Fishing Club and the Walking Sticks Camping Club. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Bessie T.; 2 daughters, Helen B. Dewalt of St. Petersburg, and Betty Baker of Casselberry, FL; 1 sister, Rosemary Pranger of Central Point, OR; 4 grandsons and 2 great grandchildren.
