Obituary of Robert Bob'' N. Wechtel

Wechtel, Robert N. ?Bob?, 89, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday, September 5, 2000. He came here in 1925 from his native Toledo, OH. Locally, he was the owner of Wechtel Plumbing, which later became Godsey & Wechtel Plumbing. He was a 30 year member and past state President of the Plumbing and Heating Contractors Association, and he was a Rotarian. He was also a member of Christ United Methodist Church where he was a Trustee for 37 years. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gertrude; one daughter, Norma Jean Dobson of Nashville, TN; one son, Robert H. of Columbia, SC; one sister, Marian Myers of St. Petersburg; three granddaughters, Deonna W. Bundrick and KeriLyn W. Ladd both of Columbia, SC; Callie L. Dobson of Durham, NC; one grandson, Matthew N. Dobson of Atlanta, GA; one great grandson, James A. Bundrick and one great granddaughter, Emily L. Bundrick both of Columbia, SC; two nieces, Carole M. Byrom of Indianapolis, IN; Patricia M. Evans of St. Petersburg; and one nephew, Kenneth T. Myers of Missoula, MT. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-9th Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
