Obituary of Carmen ''Milka'' Rosa O'Farrill

O?Farrill, Carmen Rosa ?Milka,? 60, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday May 2, 2001 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute in St. Petersburg from a stroke. Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, she came here in 1985 from New Hampshire. She retired, as a Benefits Counselor in 1998 from the Department of Veterans Affairs in St. Petersburg. She was a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Ms. O?Farrill was an usher and member of El Calvario at Liberty Temple Church and was also a member of the women?s group there. Other memberships include the American Legion Post #273, Madeira Beach; Women Veterans Organizations, Incorporated; Disabled American Veterans, and former member of L.U.LA.C. Survivors include her daughter, Alexandra Medina of St. Petersburg, her brother, Ramon O?Farrill of Carolina, PR, her sister, Gladys O?Farrill of New York, New York, her grandson, Enrique Lopez of St. Petersburg, her granddaughter, Alyssa Medina of St. Petersburg, several nieces and nephews.
