Obituary of Peggy V. Knight

Knight, Peggy V., 93, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Monday, September 25, 2000 in Leesburg, FL. She came to St. Petersburg in 1925 from her native Whitesville, W. VA. She is the widow of the late E. David Knight, retired Fire Captain, St. Petersburg Fire Department. Locally, she was a sales clerk for McCrory?s as well as a sales clerk for Yardage Unlimited. She was also a supervisor for Earl Gresh?s Wood Parade in St. Petersburg. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Pinellas Park and a member of the St. Petersburg Firefighters Wives Auxiliary. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Robarge and Lois Maxwell, both of Lady Lake, Florida; a son, Jerry G. Knight of St. Petersburg; two brothers, James F. Sneed, Jr. of Leesburg and James I. Snead of Kissimmee; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Friends may call 10AM until service time at 11:00AM Friday.
