Obituary of LaVerne Jackye'' Allen Gallagher

Gallagher, LaVerne Allen ?Jackye,? 81, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday October 11, 2000 at St. Anthony?s Hospital of Leukemia. Born in Miller County, GA, she came here in 1992 from Coral Springs, FL. She was a homemaker, an avid gardener, and a member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Don, Sr.; one son, Don, Jr., Coral Springs, FL; one daughter, Dr. Pam Gallagher, St. Petersburg; two granddaughters: Melanie and Jamie Gallagher, both of Coral Springs, FL; and one brother, Newton Allen, Fairhope, AL.
