Obituary of Willard D. Russell

Russell, Willard D., Sr., ?Wil?, 75, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday, October 15th, 2000 at Palms Of Pasadena Hospital. He was born in Roswell, OH and came here in 1950 from Edinburgh, IN. Locally, he was an Accountant & Bookkeeper at Florida Power Corporation for 29 years, and he attended First Unity Church. He was a member of the Florida Power Retirees Club, American Legion Post #238 in Safety Harbor, and DAV Sunshine City Chapter #9 in St. Petersburg. He attended Bixby Business School. He was a WW II Army veteran, and the recipient of the Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jody R.; 2 sons, W. Dean, Jr. of Martinsburg, WV, Scott A. of Bradenton; 1 sister, Garnet Herbert of Sherrodsville, OH; and six grandchildren.
