Obituary of Helen Mae Munroe

Munroe, Helen Mae, 90, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, December 29, 2000 at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she has been a winter resident here since 1948 and moved here permanently in 1983 from Ferndale, Michigan. She worked as the assistant to the City Manager for the City of Ferndale, Michigan for 20 years. She was then the Court Clerk for the City of Royal Oak, Michigan for 15 years until her retirement. She was a Charter & Life member of Chapter # 460 O.E.S. in Ferndale, where she served as the chaplain and secretary for many years. Locally, she was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and a volunteer for both Neighborly Senior Services and the Apollo Hospital now Vencor. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Ann Munroe of St. Petersburg, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to Westminster Presbyterian Church in St. Petersburg.
