Obituary of Lillian Evans Adams

Adams, Lillian Evans, 93, of Treasure Island, died Tuesday January 2, 2000 at Edward White Hospital after a short illness. Born in Dublin, Indiana, she came here in 1967 from Connersville, Indiana. She was a professional musician and a member of St. Thomas? Episcopal Church of St. Petersburg, where she was active in the Church Music Department. Locally, she was a church organist for 53 years. She was a 60-year member of the American Guild of Organists and a member of an ?All Girl Band? during WWII where she played the trumpet for Army soldiers. Survivors include a son, Anthony Titus Adams of East Coast, Florida, a daughter, Martha Jane Benda of Federal Way, Washington, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
