Obituary of Irene M. Norris

Norris, Irene M., 78, of St. Petersburg, died Monday January 15, 2001 at home under the care of Hospice. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, she came here in 1946 from Somerset, Massachusetts. She was a retired benefits counselor for the Veteran?s Administration having worked for 20 years at Bay Pines Veteran?s Administration and the old Federal Building in downtown St. Petersburg. She was a member of St. Paul?s Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Joseph A. ?Joe? Norris, Jr., a daughter, Linda M. Sacco of Sebring, Florida, a son, Drew J. Norris of Ormond Beach, Florida, a brother, Joe L. Gagne of Dunedin, Florida, and 3 grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes and Cremation Tribute Center?Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
