Obituary of Audrey Evans Phares

Phares, Audrey Evans ?Poppa?, 91, of New Port Richey, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday January 17, 2001 in New Port Richey of heart failure. Born in Whitestown, Mississippi, he came to St. Petersburg in 1983 from Jackson, Mississippi, and moved to New Port Richey in 1993. He was a right-of-way purchasing agent for the railroad. He was a Christian and was a member and past-president of the Lions Club in Mississippi and was active with the Boy Scouts of America and youth baseball. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Ola M. Phares, a son, Richard E. Phares of St. Petersburg, 2 granddaughters, Melissa L. Phares and Kayla O. Phares, both of St. Petersburg, a grandson, Jason Rand Phares of Atlanta, Georgia, and a great granddaughter, Tatum Rayne Phares of Atlanta.
